I apologize for the late updates.
December was a month that I used for progressing in my reading to join the team in Masatepe. Early January I finished Blood of Brothers by Stephen Kinzer and Helping Without Hurting by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert. I will of short reviews of the books I read separate from my updates.
In December, I filled in as a substitue for Newberg Friends Church’s handbells, joined a men’s group reading John Eldridge’s Fathered by God, and I celebrated Christmas with my dad’s side of my family. In the first week of Janurary, my parents, my dad’s parents, and I went to Lahaina, (Maui), Hawaii to visit my brother Les and sister-in-law Caitlin. It was really good to see them again and they are happy where they are.
I have $3,529.56 out of $7,303 and $310/month out of $2,256/month. The $310/month only represents the people that are currently giving and does not include those that pledged to give, once I am 100% supported.
I now have business cards and prayer cards. If you would like one let me know by comment or email: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
